These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, payments and safaris provided by Kruger Private Safaris (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a private game drive with us — through our website, WhatsApp or any other channel we operate — you (“the guest”, “you”) confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.

Booking Terms
- All safaris are private game drives operated by Kruger Private Safaris. Pricing is quoted per private vehicle and varies with the number of guests in your group.
- A booking is only confirmed once we have received your payment and issued a written confirmation with your date, package and pickup details.
- Our packages are the Half Day Morning Drive, the Full Day Big Five Drive and the Gate to Gate Full Immersion drive, entering the southern Kruger via Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate.
- Complimentary lodge pickups are offered from Marloth Park, Komatipoort and Malelane. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and contact details.
- Exact pickup times are confirmed once your booking is finalised, as they depend on gate opening times and the season.
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

Payment & What You’re Paying For
Payment is processed securely through PayFast. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your selected safari date and private vehicle.
Conservation fees are separate and paid by you at the gate
SANParks conservation fees are determined by SANParks and may change without notice. They are not included in your safari price and are not collected by us. Guests are responsible for paying the applicable conservation fee directly to SANParks upon entry, by card (all Kruger gates are cashless).
We only charge for our own services
Payments made through our website are solely for safari services provided directly by Kruger Private Safaris. We do not process payments on behalf of, or make payouts to, any third party or external provider. Every payment you make to us is for a safari we operate ourselves.

Cancellation Policy — Guest Cancellations
To cancel, please notify us in writing by WhatsApp or phone on 074 425 9067. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your notice.

A no-show (not arriving for a confirmed safari without notice) is treated as a late cancellation and is not eligible for a refund.

Refund Rules
- Where a refund is due, it is calculated per the schedule in section 03, or in full where we cancel (see section 05).
- Refunds are paid back to the original payment method used, through PayFast.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of being confirmed. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the funds.
- Conservation fees are never refundable by us, as they are paid by you directly to SANParks and never pass through us.

Wildlife Sightings
Wildlife sightings are unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed. While our guides use their experience and knowledge of the terrain to maximise viewing opportunities, no refund or compensation will be provided if particular animals, including any or all of the Big Five, are not seen during your safari.

On the Day — Arrival, Conduct & Safety
Arriving on time
Guests are responsible for arriving at the agreed pickup point on time. If a guest is late, the safari may depart without them, or the duration of the safari may be reduced. No refund or extension will be provided in these cases.
Conduct
Guests must follow the guide’s instructions at all times and comply with SANParks rules. We reserve the right to terminate a safari without refund where a guest’s behaviour is unsafe, abusive or intoxicated, or places other guests, wildlife or staff at risk.
Children
Children of all ages are welcome provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult, and remain the responsibility of that accompanying adult at all times.
Medical conditions
Please advise us before departure of any medical conditions, mobility limitations or other circumstances that may affect participation, so we can determine whether the safari is suitable for you.
Personal property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Kruger Private Safaris accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence.
Photography
We may occasionally take photographs during safaris for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any photographs, please let your guide know before departure.

Operator-Initiated Changes & Force Majeure
Your safety comes first. We may need to reschedule or cancel a safari due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including extreme weather, floods, fires or bushfires, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes or civil unrest, SANParks operational decisions, road closures, or vehicle or mechanical issues. Kruger Private Safaris shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or cancellation caused by such events.
Where we cancel a confirmed safari, you may choose:
- To reschedule to another available date at no extra charge;
- A credit for the full value of your booking, valid for 12 months; or
- A full refund of the amount you paid us.
If we make a material change (for example the date, start time or route), we’ll let you know as soon as possible and offer you the same options. We are not liable for incidental or consequential costs such as travel or accommodation, and we recommend arranging your own travel insurance.

Liability, Governing Law & Severability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and other applicable South African law, and are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any provision found to be invalid or unenforceable shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your booking applies.
